Founded in 1999 by Kévin Quicke and Jean-François Chalaffre, WAZOO is a French folk-rock band from the Auvergne region. Inspired by rural traditions, village celebrations and the popular culture of central France, the band has developed a unique musical identity blending chanson, folk influences, bluegrass energy and powerful collective choruses. Deeply connected to its volcanic homeland, WAZOO celebrates friendship, transmission, authenticity and rural life through an energetic and deeply human musical universe.
